Refund and Returns Policy

Return Eligibility

Standard Returns
  • Customers may return items within 7 (seven) days from the date of order placement.
  • The 7-day period begins on the date of the original purchase.
  • Returned items MUST be in their original, unopened packaging.
  • All original packaging, seals, and accessories must be intact and undamaged.
Factory Defects and Warranty Returns
  • In the event of factory faults or product defects, customers may return items within 14 (fourteen) days of purchase.
  • Warranty returns are subject to the following conditions:
    1. Defect must be verified by Gentlecomputer’s quality control team
    2. Product must show clear evidence of manufacturing defect
    3. Normal wear and tear are not considered warranty claims

Refund Policy

 Standard Return Refund
  • Gentlecomputer.ng does NOT issue monetary refunds for standard returns.
Defect and Specification Mismatch Refunds
  • A full refund will be processed in the following circumstances:
    1. Confirmed factory defect within the 4-day warranty period
    2. Significant mismatch between product specifications and actual product received
    3. Replacement parts that do not match the intended product specifications

Exchange Process

 Exchange Conditions
  • Customers may exchange returned items for another product.
  • Exchanges are subject to the following rules:
    1. The exchange must be for a product of equal or similar order value.
    2. If the new product is of higher value, the customer must pay the price difference.
    3. If the new product is of lower value, no refund of the price difference will be issued.
 Defect Exchanges
  • For products with verified factory defects, customers can choose between:
    1. Full product replacement
    2. Complete refund

Exceptions and Exclusions

Non-Returnable Items
  • Customized or personalized products
  • Software and digital downloads
  • Opened electronic accessories
  • Intimate or hygiene-related products
  • Damage caused by improper use or handling

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact our customer service team within the applicable return window.
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return/exchange.
  3. Receive a return authorization and instructions.
  4. Carefully package the item.
  5. Ship the item to our designated return center.

Verification Process for Defects

  • All defect claims will be assessed by our technical team
  • Customers may be required to provide:
    1. Detailed description of the defect
    2. Photographs documenting the issue
    3. Original packaging and accessories

Shipping Costs

  • For verified factory defects, Gentlecomputer.ng will cover return shipping.
  • For standard returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
